PRAYERS

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Lord Jesus, Son of the Eternal Father and Mary Immaculate, grant to our young people the generosity necessary to follow Your call and the courage required to overcome all obstacles to their vocation. 

Give the parents that faith, love and spirit of sacrifice which will inspire them to offer their children to God's service and to rejoice whenever one of their children is called to the priesthood and religious life. 

Let your example and that of Your Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph encourage both young people and parents and let Your grace sustain them. 

Amen.

PRAYER FOR THOSE IN THE SERVICE

Almighty God, we stand before you asking for your divine mercy and protection.

Embrace with your invincible armor our loved ones in all branches of the service.

Give them courage and strength against all enemies both spiritual and physical and hasten their safe journey back to their homes and families.

Amen

PRAYER FOR RAIN

Heavenly Father, Please send rain for our thirsty prairies and fields; Fill our creeks and dams with your miracle of water.  We know all good things come from you.  And so we pray through Christ our Lord.

RENEW PRAYER

Gracious God and Father, We are your people embraced by your love.  We thank you for your presence with us throughout all time. 

Create us anew through Jesus Christ your Son.  Liberate us from all that keeps us from you.  Send your Holy Spirit, enabling us to recreate our world and restore justice.

Heal us from every form of sin and violence.  Transform us to live your Word more profoundly.  Reconcile us so enemies become friends.  Awaken us to the sacred; nurture our relationships.  Enliven our parishes; reunite our families.

Fill us with joy to celebrate the fullness of life.  Empower us to be a community of love growing in likeness by the grace of Christ our Lord.
